    We're sorry to hear about your recent loss. May you find strength from the words of Philippians 4:13 which says: "For all things I have the strength through the one who gives me power." What a loving God who cares about each one of us. He didn't intend for us to grow old and die. He thus has made the SURE promise of a resurrection right here on earth when it is restored to a beautiful paradise (Psalms 37:9-11, 29; Acts 24:15; Isaiah 55;11). Obituary Send Flowers Send a Card
Funeral service for Iona P. Phillips 97, will be on May 25, 2018 at 11 am at the Moore Avenue Church of Christ with Bro. Earl Warren, officiating. Interment will follow in Eden Hills Cemetery. Mrs. Phillips passed away on May 16, 2018 at Regional Medical Center. Mrs. Phillips's remains will arrive at the church one hour prior to her service. Family visitation will be today 4-6 pm. She was a member of the 1939 Class of Cobb High School. Survivors include her children: Charles Smedley, Eddie (Mattie) Phillips, Calvin (Dorothy) Phillips, Douglas (Elaine) Phillips, Larry (Judy) Phillips, Ray (JoAnn) Phillips, Earl (Jennifer) Phillips, Lanessa (Bobby) Jackson; 27 grandchildren, 23 great grandchildren, 3 great great grandchildren, other relatives and friends.
