I am standing upon the seashore.  A ship at my side spreads her white sails to the morning breeze and starts for the blue ocean.  She is an object of beauty and strength, and I stand watch until at last she hangs like a speck of white cloud just where the sea and sky come down!

It is with a sad heart that the staff and management of Harrington Funeral Home Inc. announce the earthly departure of the Late:

Mrs. Aleen Hunt – of Valdosta Georgia, born August 1, 1934.  At the age of 83, God dispatched an angel from heaven and granted "SWEET ALEEN" passage home on the other shore.

Funeral Services of Love will be held Thursday, May 31, 2018 at 2:00 pm from the sanctuary of Day Spring Missionary Baptist Church 615 Dasher Lane, Valdosta, Georgia.  Burial will follow in the Sunset Cemetery, Rev. Phillip Corker, pastor will officiate.

Convey your expressions of love by singing the online guestbook -

Mrs. Aleen Hunt (83)

It saddens us to know you are mourning the loss of your loved one. May you find strength and comfort from the words of Psalms 34:18. It reads: “Jehovah is close to the brokenhearted; He saves those who are crushed in spirit." Our loving God is there for us if we ask for his help (1 John 5:14). He didn't intend for us to grow old and die. He thus has made the SURE promise of a resurrection RIGHT HERE ON EARTH when it is restored to a beautiful paradise (Psalms 37:9-11, 29; Acts 24:15; Isaiah 55;11). What a joy it will be to welcome back to life your loved ones who are asleep in death!! You can go online to JW.ORG and find out more about this resurrection.
