Robert Michael Gore

Rob “Tank” Gore, 43, of Bahama, N.C., Army veteran and former volunteer fire fighter, passed away from this life unexpectedly this past Sunday, 20 May 2018.  He was born 9 Sept 1974 in Albemarle, N.C.  He graduated from Northern High School and attended Durham Tech.

Rob is survived by his wife, Brittany; his six children, Thomas Earl, Christina Anne, Eric Mathew, William Onyx, Nathan Riley, and Liberty (Libby) Lynn; his parents, Randy and Colean Gore of Bahama, N.C.; his grandmother, Berrel Gray of Albemarle, N.C.; his brother, Jonathan Bennett Gore of Leicester, N.C.; and a slew of aunts, uncles, nephews, nieces, cousins, and a number of very close friends.

Rob loved being a fire fighter so it is fitting that family and friends can celebrate his life at a memorial service at the Bahama Volunteer Fire Department located at 1814 Bahama Rd, Bahama, NC 27503 this Saturday, 26 May 2018 at 2:00 P.M., to be officiated by Chaplain Ralph Thompson.  Dress casually as Rob and formality did not mix well and he would have wanted it that way.  Rob also loved Jeeps, especially Wranglers, so if you drive one, drive it.
