HERMITAGE
A funeral service celebrating the life of Mr. Ronald E. Miller will be held Wednesday May 30, 2018 at 11am at Greater Morris Chapel AME in Farrell. Mr. Miller passed away peacefully on Tuesday, May 15, 2018 at Sharon Regional Health System surrounded by family. Mr. Miller was born March 31, 1944 in Sharon, a son of Mamie Canty and Edward Nelson Miller . He was a 1962 graduate of Farrell High School and proudly  served in the US Navy.  He was formerly employed as a mechanic with Mack Trucks in Allentown, PA retiring in 2007 after 34 years of loyal service. After retirement, he relocated to Hermitage, PA where he rejoined his childhood church Greater Morris Chapel AME. He enjoyed reading the paper, working on his yard and spending time with his loving grandchildren. 
He leaves to cherish his memory his children, Ronald (Cartina) Miller of Woodbridge, VA, Michael Miller of Allentown, PA,  Teresa Miller-Byrd of Charlotte, NC; his brother, Donald Miller of Farrell ;his grandchildren, Rodney, Téa, Carson, Noah, Caden, Stella, Corey, and Channing,; a host of other relatives and dear friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his childhood sweetheart, his wife, Carolyn Jones Miller and his sister, Carolyn Miller Roberts.
The family will receive friends  May 29th from 4:00PM-8:00PM at 3502 Basil Court Hermitage, PA and on Wednesday May 30, 2018 from 10am until 11 am at the church.
Interment will be in Morefield Cemetery.

    We deeply feel for what you and the family are going through. At times, there isn't much that can soothe the pain this grief brings, but you may find some comfort in the words of Psalms 9:9 which reads: "Jehovah will become a secure refuge for the oppressed, A secure refuge in times of distress." Yes, our Loving God can help if we allow him to (1John 5:14). He also has made the SURE promise of a resurrection right here on earth, when it is restored to a Paradise (Acts 24:15; Psalms 37:9-11,29).
