To family and friends my deepest sympathy for the loss of your loved one. Losing a loved one in death is very painful and Almighty God Jehovah (Psalms 83:18; God's name) promises that he will resurrect millions of people who have died. "There is going to be a resurrection of both the righteous and unrighteous." Read John 5:28,29 and Acts 24:15. Learn more about Jesus Christ and how he will make God's wonderful promises come true at jw.org. May the God of comfort and tender mercies sustain you during this most difficult time. 2 Corinthians 1:3,4

My deepest condolences to the family and friends of Darius Mitchell. At Acts 24:15 it says,"There is going to be a resurrection." That is a wonderful promise from our loving God, Jehovah. The Bible calls Jehovah God the source of life. The One who gave life to all living things is certainly capable of restoring life to someone who has died.

We deeply feel for what you and the family are going through. At times, there isn't much that can soothe the pain this grief brings, but you may find some comfort in the words of Psalms 9:9 which reads: "Jehovah will become a secure refuge for the oppressed, A secure refuge in times of distress." Yes, our Loving God can help if we allow him to (1John 5:14). He also has made the SURE promise of a resurrection right here on earth, when it is restored to a Paradise (Acts 24:15; Psalms 37:9-11,29). No, not just a dream, but for a certainty he will do it, for Isaiah 55:11 shows us that everything he says, he accomplishes without fail. You can find out more online at JW.ORG

I am deeply sorry for your loss. I know how hard losing a loved one can be. Prayer is a major healer because God is close to those who are in pain at heart. He hears the prayers of those who cry for help. God hates death just as much as we do and that is why he plans to do something about it in the near future. 1 Corinthians 15:26 reads: "And the last, enemy, death, is to be brought to nothing." God will also resurrect our dead loved ones. Acts 24:15 reads: "And I have hope toward God, which hope these men also look forward to, that there is going to be a resurrection of both the righteous and the unrighteous." You and your family are in my prayers. Please accept my sincere condolences. www.jw.org - search resurrection (for comfort that will bring you to your copy of the Bible)
