To the family, I am so sorry for your loss. Mrs. Edge was the librarian when I was a student at Parker Middle School, almost 30 years ago, if my memory is correct. She was one of the many positive influences during my time there. It is my hope that the family will look forward to the time when tears, pain, and death will be gone forever (Revelation 21:3,4). Also, know that now, during this sad time, our Heavenly Father asssures us of his loving support (Psalm 34:18). In the days ahead, may your family support and encourage one another. Take care.

I want to send my deepest sympathy to the family of Brenda Scarborough Edge. The bible tells us we can gain comfort from God, even during times of sorrow. We can pray to our heavenly father for help to cope with the sorrow felt from the death of a loved one. By prayer and supplication, let your petitions be made known to God; and the peace of God that surpasses all understanding will guard your hearts and your mental powers by means of Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:6 The bible also promises that God “will wipe out every tear from [our] eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore.” (Revelation 21:4) How comforting and reassuring that is! May you find comfort by relying on our heavenly father and learning more about the blessings of God's kingdom. Local ministry volunteer

To the Edge Family: I am sorry to hear of your lost. As you read the following words; you will find comfort in knowing that God makes no mistakes From this world of pain and sorrow, To the land of peace and rest; God has taken your dear love one, Where they'll find eternal rest. God knew that she was suffering, And the hills were hard to climb; So He closed her weary eyelids And whispered peace be thine.

We're so sorry about your loss. Please find comfort from the words found at 1 Corinthians 1:3, 4 which reads: "3 Praised be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of tender mercies and the God of all comfort, 4 who comforts us in all our trials" Yes, we can ask for help and rely on God. He also has made the SURE promise of a resurrection RIGHT HERE ON EARTH when it is restored to a beautiful paradise. (Acts 24:15; Psalms 37:9-11, 29). Be confident that this is SURE to happen because Isaiah 55:11 ensures us of this. Find out more online at JW.ORG
