To family and friends my deepest sympathy for the loss of your loved one. Losing a loved one in death is very painful and Almighty God Jehovah (Psalms 83:18; God's name) promises that he will resurrect millions of people who have died. "There is going to be a resurrection of both the righteous and unrighteous." Read John 5:28,29 and Acts 24:15. Learn more about Jesus Christ and how he will make God's wonderful promises come true at jw.org. May the God of comfort and tender mercies sustain you during this most difficult time.

We deeply feel for what you and the family are going through. At times, there isn't much that can soothe the pain this grief brings, but you may find some comfort in the words of Psalms 9:9 which reads: "Jehovah will become a secure refuge for the oppressed, A secure refuge in times of distress." Yes, our Loving God can help if we allow him to (1John 5:14). He also has made the SURE promise of a resurrection right here on earth, when it is restored to a Paradise (Acts 24:15; Psalms 37:9-11,29). No, not just a dream, but for a certainty he will do it, for Isaiah 55:11 shows us that everything he says, he accomplishes without fail. You can find out more online at JW.ORG

To the Family and Friends of Ruth Young: I am sorry to hear of your loss. I cannot imagine your pain and sadness at this time. I pray that Jehovah God will comfort and support you all during this time of sorrow. God has promises to one day put an end to death forever (Isaiah 25:8). Jesus also showed what He will do in the future. The Bible shows that in the future those who have fallen asleep in death will be brought back to life on a paradise earth (John 5:28 and Luke 23:43). Until that time comes, may you treasure the special memories you shared.

My deepest condolences to all the love ones of the dearly departed. The words found at 2 Corinthians chapter 1 verses 3 and 4 were especially comforting to me and my family during the loss of our parents and dear loved ones. It says, "Praised be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of tender mercies and God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our trials so that we may be able to comfort others in any sort of trial with comfort that we receive from God." May these words strengthen you too.
