            Mr. Ray Douglas Hunt was born July 1, 1950 in Gaston County, North Carolina and departed this life Wednesday, May 30, 2018 at Duke Regional Hospital in Durham, North Carolina.  He was the son of the late Charles Miller Hunt, Sr. and Fannie Elizabeth Brooks Hunt.

             Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his sisters, Ruby Hunt Sherrill and Annie Bell Beaty; brother, Donald J. Hunt, Sr.

             He leaves his memories to four sisters, Naomi Hunt Burch of Stanley, N.C., Bernice Hunt Smith, Mary Hunt Love and Cathey Hunt Brice all of Gastonia, N.C.; three brothers, Charles Hunt, Jr. of Fla, John T. Roseboro and William E. Hunt of New York; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Saturday, June 9, 2018 @ 1:00 P.M.

VISITATION
The family will receive friends on Saturday for one hour prior to funeral.
(12:00 Noon until 1:00 P.M.)

Our loving God is there for us if we ask for his help (1 John 5:14). He didn't intend for us to grow old 9and die.
