I would like to offer my condolences to the Jones family. 78 years is quite an accomplishment according to the Bible (Psalm 90:10 which says: "The span of our life is 70 years, or 80, if one is especially strong, But they are filled with trouble and sorrow; They quickly pass by, and away we fly."` I know Ms. Sarah has left you with many precious memories and will be greatly missed. Hopefully this scripture will give you comfort because Jehovah God (Psalm 83:18) is promising us he will do away with man's worst enemy, death. This is found for us at Rev. 21: 4; "And he will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore." Acts 17:31-34 tells us: "Because he (Jehovah) has set a day on which he (Jehovah) purposes to judge the inhabited earth in righteousness by a man (Jesus) whom he (Jehovah) has appointed, and he (Jehovah) has provided a guarantee to all men by resurrecting him (Jesus) from the dead." Now when they heard of a resurrection of the dead, some began to scoff, while others said: "We will hear you again about this." So Paul left them, but some men joined him and became believers. Among them were Dionysius, who was a judge of the court of the Areopagus, and a woman named Damaris, and others besides them."" Isn't it wonderful to know that death is not the end of things, but Jehovah has provided the resurrection for us? For more comforting scriptures please visit: http://bit.ly/1K38EFt. It has given me hope, strengthened my faith and helped me find the answer to Why? I know it will do the same for you. John 17:3 God's kingdom that Jesus taught us to pray for at Matthew 6: 9, 10 will bring about these wonderful promises including the resurrection. John 6: 40 tells us: "For this is the will of my Father, that everyone who recognizes the Son and exercises faith in him should have everlasting life, and I will resurrect him on the last day." Also, Titus 1: 2 tells us this promise of a resurrection: "is based on a hope of the everlasting life that God, who cannot lie, promised long ago. Isaiah 26:19 "Your dead will live......And the earth will let those powerless in death come to life." Isaiah 25:8 "He will swallow up death forever. For Jehovah himself has spoken it." This is a wonderful promise made to us by our heavenly father and I pray it brings you comfort and hope. Jehovah invites you to throw all your burdens on him and he will sustain you in your time of grief. Psalm 34:18 I pray you will find comfort reading the above scriptures in your personal Bible and to please watch this beautiful video (song 144) entitled “Keep Your Eyes on the Prize” https://tv.jw.org/#en/video/VODChildren/pub-pksn_24_VIDEO or see JW.ORG (search comfort) If you had the opportunity to see your dead loved ones again, alive and in perfect health here on earth, would you take it? My deepest condolences to the family and friends of Sarah Jones. At Acts 24:15 it says, "There is going to be a resurrection." The Bible calls Jehovah God the source of life. The One who gave life to all living things is certainly capable of restoring life to someone who has died.

Accept our heartfelt sympathy in your recent loss. May you find strength and comfort from the words of Nahum 1:7 Which reads: “Jehovah is good, a stronghold in the day of distress. He is mindful of those seeking refuge in him.” Yes, our loving God is there for us if we allow him to help (1 John 5:14). He didn't intend for us to grow old and die. He thus has made the SURE promise of a resurrection RIGHT HERE ON EARTH when it is restored to a beautiful paradise (Psalms 37:9-11, 29; Acts 24:15; Isaiah 55;11). Can you see yourself welcoming back to life your loved ones? What a joy it will bring all of us! You can go online to JW.ORG and find out more about this resurrection.
