Funeral services for Franciner Wiggins , 99, of 526 North Street Barnwell,  SC will be held 1:00 p.m Saturday, June 16, 2018 at Union United Methodist Church in Kline, S.C. with Reverend Warren Murdock Sr., officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. 

Sister Francina Morris Wiggins, was born on April 27, 1919 in Allendale County, South Carolina, the oldest child of Willie and Freddie Morris.  Reared by her grandparents, Arthur and Rebecca Bellinger, she grew up in Kline, South Carolina. Sister Wiggins, 99, of Barnwell, South Carolina, passed away peacefully on June 9, 2018. Sister Wiggins was married for 70 years to her beloved late husband, Charlie Wiggins. 
 
She was a lifelong member of Union United Methodist Church, where she served faithfully until her health declined. Sister Wiggins served in many capacities, including communion steward, trustee, usher and church school treasurer. Sister Wiggins was a member of Pilgrim Chapel No. 7 Eastern Star. She worked at the Barnwell County Hospital and Williston Headstart Program preparing meals for patients and preschool children.  She personified the love of God. A mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister and aunt, she will be missed by those she loved and those that loved her. 
 
She was preceded in death by her husband, Charlie Wiggins; son, George Wiggins; son-in-law, Ronald Poole; granddaughter, Lasonya May; and three siblings: Wilson Morris, Mary Louise Priester and Lillian Lewis. 

 Sister Wiggins is survived by her daughter, Evelyn Poole of Jacksonville, FL; two granddaughters: Veronica (Leroy) Flowers of Charlotte, NC and Sue (Ulysses) Buxton of Kline, SC; one grandson Chris Poole of Jacksonville, FL,  five great grandchildren. Alex Flowers of Charlotte, NC, Tina Dopson, Sabrina Dopson, Tony Dopson and Lamont Dopson all of Barnwell, SC; 14  great -great grandchildren; two sisters: Rosalie Jennings of Allendale, SC and Rosa M. (Alex) Taylor of Detroit, MI; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and sorrowing friends. 

Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Friday, June 16, 2018 from 1-7 p.m.

Friends may call at the residence of her sister, Rosalie Jennings at 444 Susan Street Allendale, SC, or at the funeral home.

    Accept our heartfelt sympathy in your recent loss. May you find strength and comfort from the words of Nahum 1:7 Which reads: “Jehovah is good, a stronghold in the day of distress. He is mindful of those seeking refuge in him.” Yes, our loving God is there for us if we allow him to help (1 John 5:14). He didn't intend for us to grow old and die.
