Mrs. Mary Lee Dalton, 91, of 1051 Thornton Rd., Mayodan, died June 17, 2018. Funeral services will be held 1 p.m. Saturday, June 23, 2018 at Mt. Carmel Holiness Church in Madison. Burial will be in Martinview Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 12:30 to 1 p.m. Saturday at the church.

    We deeply feel for what you and the family are going through. At times, there isn't much that can soothe the pain this grief brings, but you may find some comfort in the words of Psalms 9:9 which reads: "Jehovah will become a secure refuge for the oppressed, A secure refuge in times of distress." Yes, our Loving God can help if we allow him to (1John 5:14). He also has made the SURE promise of a resurrection right here on earth, when it is restored to a Paradise (Acts 24:15; Psalms 37:9-11,29).
