Mr. Charles Edward Dalton “Eddie”, 37, died July 5, 2018.  Funeral service will be held on Tuesday, July 10, 2018 at Sharon Baptist Church, 3890 Hwy #220 Business, Stoneville, NC.  The family will receive friends from 12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday at the church.  Burial will be at Eden Garden Cemetery, Eden, NC.

“Eddie” and “Eddie Rabbit”, as he was known was born December 4, 1980 in Eden, NC to the proud parents of Charles “Carlton” and Ellen Galloway Dalton the youngest of three children.  He transition to his heaven home on Thursday, July 5, 2018 at Hospice of Rockingham County, Wentworth, NC with his father and uncle, Jerry Galloway by his side.  Eddie was a graduate of Dalton L. McMicheal High School, Class of 2001.  His love for family and friends stood out which never let his disability of Austism keep him from the love and joy of life.  His favorite past time was spent listening to music, watching movies, games shows and enjoying family gatherings with food where he never hesitated to fix a “plate to go”.  If you were in a store or out he saw you before you saw him he would walk over and say “What’s up” with a handshake, fist bump or a hug and I love you too.  He was preceded in death by his sister, Michalle A. Dalton and grandmother, Myness Carter.  He leaves to cherish his memories: his parents; Carlton and Ellen Dalton, his big brother; Nicholas A. Dalton “Nic”, twelve aunts, eleven uncles, five great aunts, one great uncle, a host of other relatives and friends.

We're so sorry to hear you are mourning the recent loss of your loved one. May you find strength and comfort from the words of Psalms 46:1 which reads: "God is our refuge and strength, A help that is readily found in times of distress." Our loving God is there for us if we ask for his help (1 John 5:14). He didn't intend for us to grow old and die. He thus has made the SURE promise of a resurrection RIGHT HERE ON EARTH when it is restored to a beautiful paradise (Psalms 37:9-11, 29; Acts 24:15; Isaiah 55;11). Can you see yourself welcoming back to life your loved ones? What a joy it will bring all of us. You can go online to JW.ORG and find out more about this resurrection.
