Mrs. Sallie Ann Lemons,72, died Saturday, July 14, 2018. Funeral services will be held 1 p.m. Thursday, July 19, 2018 at United In Christ Ministries in Eden. The family will receive friends from 12:30 p.m. to 1:00 p.m. Thursday at the church.  Burial will be held at Eden Garden Cemetery, Eden, NC.

Sallie Ann, a Daughter, a Sister, a Mother, a Granny and best friend, departed this earthly life on Saturday, July 14, 2018 at UNC Rockingham Rehailitation and Nursing Care Center, Eden, NC.  She was born on April 26, 1946 to the late Otis and Lillie Brim in Reidsville, NC.  Sallie was educated at Booker T. Washington High School and was a machine operator at Unifi before deciding to be a full-time Granny.   She loved all of her family and would do anything she could for them.  She was always there for others in need as well.  Everyone that met her had nothing but love and respect for "Mrs. Sallie", as she was affectionately known.  She was preceded in death by her husband, James Lemons, Jr., two children, one granddaughter, two brothers and a sister.

    We deeply feel for what you and the family are going through. At times, there isn't much that can soothe the pain this grief brings, but you may find some comfort in the words of Psalms 9:9 which reads: "Jehovah will become a secure refuge for the oppressed, A secure refuge in times of distress." Yes, our Loving God can help if we allow him to (1John 5:14). He also has made the SURE promise of a resurrection right here on earth, when it is restored to a Paradise (Acts 24:15; Psalms 37:9-11,29).
