Mr. Julius Neely, Jr., 86, of Elizabethtown, KY died on August 7, 2018 at his residence.

Mr. Neely was a native of Hartsville, TN and the son of the late Julius and Susie Neely.  He was a U. S. Army veteran.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Josephine Neely; his siblings, Willie Lee Neely, J. C. Neely, Hortense Holland, Rosa Lee Wright, Elizabeth Alexander and Maliza Sullivan.

Survivors include one son, Julius W. Neely of Elizabethtown, KY; one daughter, Queen Victoria Barber of Fairview Heights, IL; three grandchildren, Ryan Neely (Julia), Brandon Barber and Erin Neely; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives.

Funeral service will be 2:00 pm on Thursday, August 16, 2018 at Strawther & White Funeral Home in Gallatin, TN with Rev. John Alexander officiating.  Burial with military honors will be 11:00 am on Friday, August 17, 2018 at West Tennessee State Veterans Cemetery in Memphis, TN. 

Visitation will be from 1:00 to 2:00 pm on Thursday, August 16, 2018 at Strawther & White Funeral Home.

Percell & Sons Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
