My deepest condolences. May you find comfort in each other, in the good memories, and in the hope the scriptures provide. Our Lord Jesus said that in the future, God will call and “those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice and come out” to a resurrection (John 5:28,29). The promise of being able to see my loved ones who have passed has comforted me through tough times and I hope that promise also brings you comfort. In the words of Job (Job 14:14,15) - “If a man dies, can he live again?I will wait all the days of my compulsory service Until my relief comes.  You will call, and I will answer you” Jehovah God is anxious to see all of those who have fallen asleep in death and reunite them with all their loved ones.

We deeply feel for what you and the family are going through. At times, there isn't much that can soothe the pain this grief brings, but you may find some comfort in the words of Psalms 9:9 which reads: "Jehovah will become a secure refuge for the oppressed, A secure refuge in times of distress." Yes, our Loving God can help if we allow him to (1John 5:14). He also has made the SURE promise of a resurrection right here on earth, when it is restored to a Paradise (Acts 24:15; Psalms 37:9-11,29). No, not just a dream, but for a certainty he will do it, for Isaiah 55:11 shows us that everything he says, he accomplishes without fail. You can find out more online at JW.ORG.
