We deeply feel for what you and the family are going through. At times, there isn't much that can soothe the pain this grief brings, but you may find some comfort in the words of Psalms 9:9 which reads: "Jehovah will become a secure refuge for the oppressed, A secure refuge in times of distress." Yes, our Loving God can help if we allow him to (1John 5:14). He also has made the SURE promise of a resurrection right here on earth, when it is restored to a Paradise (Acts 24:15; Psalms 37:9-11,29). No, not just a dream, but for a certainty he will do it, for Isaiah 55:11 shows us that everything he says, he accomplishes without fail. You can find out more online at JW.ORG.

To the King Family I would like to take this time to express my personal condolences to the entire King family. Our thoughts and prayers are with all during this time of great sadness. May the family and friends please draw daily comfort from this loving promise from God. This promise is directed toward all who are grieving over the lost of a loved one or friend. From the scriptures God reveals this promise. He states that soon He would use His great powers to restore life back to those who have died. Yes God would call, and our love ones would hear His voice and stand up in life again. (John 5:28-29) Yes God wants all to be able to envision this arrangement taking place. So He lovingly take the time to preserve nine account in the Bible that speaks about this wonderful arrangement soon to take place earth wide. Here is just one such example recorded at Acts 9:36-42. May all please find true comfort in reading these verses. Yes the resurrection hope awaits Hortense, and billions of others who have fallen asleep in death. Until then, we can use this time to develop strong faith in this wonderful promise from God. Yes please keep this promise of God near your hearts at all times. Remember that we have God's personal promise. When God gives a promise, it becomes reality. For it is impossible for God to lie.( Titus 1:2)
