I can never remember a time when I didn't know Pee Wee. I grew up around him and he was always like a big brother to me. We worked together many times over the years on the farm and in the tobacco field. Even though we worked hard, we always enjoyed each other's company. I will miss him greatly and always cherish the memories I have of him and our times together. God speed old friend! Mark W. Young Walnut Cove, N.C.

2 Corinthians 1:3,4 gives us the assurance that "the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of tender mercies" is "the God of all comfort" and he "comforts us in all our trials." James 5:11; God "is very tender in affection (very compassionate) and merciful." Please accept my sincere condolences. Always remember God loves you and he cares for you! (Psalm 36:7; 1 Peter 5:7)

We're so sorry you are mourning the loss of your dear loved one. Not much can soothe the pain this sorrow brings, but we hope the words of Psalms 34:18 can help some. It reads: “Jehovah is close to the brokenhearted; He saves those who are crushed in spirit.” We can rely on our loving God to provide comfort in these troublesome times. He also has made the sure promise of a resurrection RIGHT HERE ON EARTH when it is restored into a beautiful paradise! (Acts 24:15; Psalms 37:9-11, 29). This is Sure to come because everything God says, he does without fail (Isaiah 55:11). Find out more about this resurrection online at JW.ORG
