To family and friends my deepest sympathies to you for the loss of your love one. Losing a loved one in death is very painful. Almighty God Jehovah (God's name; Psalms 83:18) promise that he will resurrect millions of people who have died. "And the earth will let those powerless in death come to life." Read Isaiah 26:19 "There is going to be a resurrection of both the righteous and unrighteous." These are the words of Jesus Christ at John 5:28,29. Learn more about the resurrection hope and how Jesus is going to make God's wonderful promises come to be at jw.org. May the God of comfort and tender mercies sustain you at this difficult time. 2 Corinthians 1:3,4

I wish to express my sincerest sympathy to the Stephens family and friends because of losing Mr. Elbert recently in death. When our loved ones fall asleep in death, the pain and grief seems unbearable. Our loving God Jehovah (Psalm 83:18) understands how we feel and he comforts us by means of his word the Bible. Psalm 34: 18 tells us: "Jehovah is close to the brokenhearted; He saves those who are crushed in spirit." Jehovah invites you to throw all your burdens on him and he will sustain you in your time of grief. None of us are guaranteed tomorrow, but we are all guaranteed a resurrection. (John 5:28, John 6:40 and John 11:23-25) Also, Titus 1: 2 tells us this promise of a resurrection: "is based on a hope of the everlasting life that God, who cannot lie, promised long ago." Isaiah 26:19 "Your dead will live......And the earth will let those powerless in death come to life." Isaiah 25:8 "He will swallow up death forever. For Jehovah himself has spoken it." For more comforting scriptures please visit: http://bit.ly/1K38EFt. It has given me hope, strengthened my faith and helped me find the answer to Why? I know it will do the same for you, or see JW.ORG. and search comfort. If you had the opportunity to see your dead loved ones again, alive and in perfect health here on earth, would you take it? Of course, we all would! The Bible says we will!!! Isn't that wonderful? so, please watch this short, faith strengthening video: “Can The Dead Really Live Again?” https://www.jw.org/finder?pub=t-35&wtlocale=E&srcid=share (just click on the link and it will take you there) You are in my prayers during this difficult time. . To the family and friends of Mr. Elbert Stephens Sr , I’m sending my sympathy and warm Christian love. It’s so sad to lose a love one in death, but soon God’s kingdom will rule over mankind.(Matthew 6:10) Under that kingdom “no resident will say I am sick.”(Isaiah 33:24) There will be no death, no tears(Revelation 21:3,4) we will be able to live forever here on earth “in the abundance of peace.”(Psalms 37:11)

We're so sorry you are mourning the loss of your dear loved one. Not much can soothe the pain this sorrow brings, but we hope the words of Psalms 34:18 can help some. It reads: “Jehovah is close to the brokenhearted; He saves those who are crushed in spirit.” We can rely on our loving God to provide comfort in these troublesome times. He also has made the sure promise of a resurrection RIGHT HERE ON EARTH when it is restored into a beautiful paradise! (Acts 24:15; Psalms 37:9-11, 29). This is Sure to come because everything God says, he does without fail (Isaiah 55:11). Find out more about this resurrection online at JW.ORG
