To family and friends my deepest sympathies to you for the loss of your love one. Losing a loved one in death is very painful. Almighty God Jehovah (God's name; Psalms 83:18) promise that he will resurrect millions of people who have died. "And the earth will let those powerless in death come to life." Isaiah 26:19 "There is going to be a resurrection of both the righteous and unrighteous". These are the words of Jesus Christ at John 5:28,29. Learn more about the resurrection hope and how Jesus is going to make God's wonderful promises come to be at jw.org. May the God of comfort and tender mercies sustain you at this difficult time. 2 Corinthians 1:3,4

I know the Hood family and friends have saddened hearts because of losing Ms. Julia recently in death. When our loved ones fall asleep in death, the pain and grief seems unbearable. So I want to share this beautiful scripture where our heavenly father, Jehovah, (Psalm 83:18) promises us that he is going to do away with man's greatest enemy, death. Rev. 21: 4; "And he will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore." When our loved ones fall asleep in death, the pain and grief seems unbearable. Our loving God Jehovah understands how we feel and he comforts us by means of his word the Bible. ." Jehovah invites you to throw all your burdens on him and he will sustain you in your time of grief. (Psalm 34:18) For more comforting scriptures please visit: http://bit.ly/1K38EFt It has provided me with many more scriptures that have given me comfort, strengthened my faith and helped me find the answer to Why? I know it will do the same for you, or visit JW,ORG and search comfort. God's kingdom that Jesus taught us to pray for at Matt. 6: 9, 10 will bring about these wonderful promises including the resurrection. (John 5: 28, John 6:40, John 11:23-25) Isaiah 26:19 "Your dead will live......And the earth will let those powerless in death come to life." Isaiah 25:8 "He will swallow up death forever. For Jehovah himself has spoken it." If you had the opportunity to see your dead loved ones again, alive and in perfect health here on earth, would you take it? Of course, we all would! The Bible says we will!!! Isn't that wonderful? so, please watch this short, faith strengthening video: “Can The Dead Really Live Again?” https://www.jw.org/finder?pub=t-35&wtlocale=E&srcid=share (just click on the link and it will take you there) You are in my prayers during this difficult time. . I would like to send my condolences to the Hood family during the loss of your loved one. May you find comfort and hope in God's Word the Bible. The scripture at Rev. 21:4 along with many others shares a wonderful promise. Our heavenly Father Jehovah says that "soon there will be no more pain sickness or death the former things will pass away".

To the family and friends of Mrs. Julia Hood , I’m sending my sympathy and warm Christian love. It’s so sad to lose a love one in death, but soon God’s kingdom will rule over mankind.(Matthew 6:10) Under that kingdom “no resident will say I am sick.”(Isaiah 33:24) There will be no death, no tears(Revelation 21:3,4) we will be able to live forever here on earth “in the abundance of peace.”(Psalms 37:11)

We deeply feel for what you and the family are going through. At times, there isn't much that can soothe the pain this grief brings, but you may find some comfort in the words of Psalms 9:9 which reads: "Jehovah will become a secure refuge for the oppressed, A secure refuge in times of distress." Yes, our Loving God can help if we allow him to (1John 5:14). He also has made the SURE promise of a resurrection right here on earth, when it is restored to a Paradise (Acts 24:15; Psalms 37:9-11,29). No, not just a dream, but for a certainty he will do it, for Isaiah 55:11 shows us that everything he says, he accomplishes without fail. You can find out more online at JW.ORG.
