I wanted to express my sympathies to the Pratt family. I'm so sorry for your loss. During difficult times like this, we all need comfort. That comfort can come from the Bible, through prayer, from family and friends. But the ultimate source of comfort comes from Almighty God, Jehovah. 2 Corinthians 1:3,4 speaks, in part, of "the God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our trials so that we may be able to comfort others in any sort of trial with the comfort that we receive from God." Copy and paste the following link in the browser to be directed to an article entitled, "Where Can You Find Comfort?" It considers how God provides such comfort. https://www.jw.org/en/publications/magazines/watchtower-no5-2016-september/#?insight[search_id]=15989af5-9867-4eca-b8d5-029765b2874e&insight[search_result_index]=1

To family and friends my deepest sympathies to you for the loss of your love one. Losing a loved one in death is very painful. Almighty God Jehovah (God's name; Psalms 83:18) promise that he will resurrect millions of people who have died. "And the earth will let those powerless in death come to life". Isaiah 26:19 "There is going to be a resurrection of both the righteous and unrighteous". These are the words of Jesus Christ at John 5:28,29. Learn more about the resurrection hope and how Jesus is going to make God's wonderful promises come to be at jw.org. May the God of comfort and tender mercies sustain you at this difficult time. 2 Corinthians 1:3,4

My sincere condolences to you on the loss of your loved one. Words cannot express the sorrow you’re feeling at this time. Or the pain your heart will continue to feel as the years pass. I too have lost loved ones and this promise found in God’s Word that in the near future, death along with the sting of pain and sorrow will soon be gone forever has brought me so much comfort. I hope this will bring you a measure of comfort too. Isaiah 25:8 - He (God)will swallow up death forever, and the Sovereign Lord Jehovah (God’s name)will wipe away the tears from all faces. May this tract bring you some comfort: http://www.jw.org/en/publications/books/dead-live-again-tract/dead-live-again/
