Dear Hines family, I wanted to give you my deepest sympathies. The death of a loved one causes us deep pain. At Jeremiah 31:13, Almighty God has promised, "I will change their mourning into exultation. I will comfort them and give them joy instead of their grief." No doubt you look forward to the fulfillment of that promise. You can fully rely on "the God of tender mercies and the God of all comfort" to give you the strength and endurance to cope during this difficult time. (2 Corinthians 1:3) At John 5:28,29 Jehovah has promised us the beautiful hope of the resurrection, the hope of being reunited with our loved ones who have fallen asleep in death. No doubt this is a promise that we look forward to in the near future. If you would like to see what the reality of the resurrection can mean for you personally, please take a look at the following video: https://tv.jw.org/#en/video/VODProgramsEvents/pub-jwbcov_201405_5_VIDEO

To family and friends my deepest sympathies to you for the loss of your love one. Losing a loved one in death is very painful. Almighty God Jehovah (God's name; Psalms 83:18) promise that he will resurrect millions of people who have died. "And the earth will let those powerless in death come to life". Isaiah 26:19 "There is going to be a resurrection of both the righteous and unrighteous". These are the words of Jesus Christ at John 5:28,29. Learn more about the resurrection hope and how Jesus is going to make God's wonderful promises come to be at jw.org. May the God of comfort and tender mercies sustain you at this difficult time. 2 Corinthians 1:3,4

I am very sorry that death has robbed your family of someone you loved. In the Bible there are many scriptures that provide comfort. Our heavenly father knows your distress. Jehovah our GOD is referred to as the “The Father of tender mercies and the GOD of all comfort.” Please read 2 Cor 1:3-4, Psalms 34:18 and Isaiah 65:2 for words of comfort at what must be one of the most difficult times of your lives.

My sincere condolences to you on the loss of your loved one. Words cannot express the sorrow you’re feeling at this time. Or the pain your heart will continue to feel as the years pass. I too have lost loved ones and this promise found in God’s Word that in the near future, death along with the sting of pain and sorrow will soon be gone forever has brought me so much comfort. I hope this will bring you a measure of comfort too. Isaiah 25:8 - He (God)will swallow up death forever, and the Sovereign Lord Jehovah (God’s name)will wipe away the tears from all faces. May this tract bring you some comfort: http://www.jw.org/en/publications/books/dead-live-again-tract/dead-live-again/

Our Heavenly Father is well aware of the hurt you feel. He promises in His Word the Holy Bible to remove pain, suffering, and death (Isaiah 25:8 and Revelation 21:3,4).
