Mother Lula Mae Hundley of Valdosta Georgia was born February 22, 1919, in Choctaw, Alabama. Mother Hundley was known as “Mom”, “Grandmama”, “Mama, “Lu”, “Mother Hundley”, “dear friend”, and most of all” BLESSED”.  She was blessed to live an abundant and fruitful life for 99 years. 

Although Mother Lula Mae Hundley has departed from this life, her life and legacy will live on through all who knew and loved her. God’s Gift given into the earth realm on Monday, February 22, 1919 and Heavens Gain – Mother Hundley received her “crown” on Tuesday, September 25, 2018 in the privacy of her earthly home. (809 ½ Nardo Street). 

Mother Hundley, was proceeded in death by her husband: Mr. Frank Hundley Sr; Children: Frank Hundley Jr; Thomas L. Hundley, and Lewis M. Hundley; daughter in-law; Effie Griffin, son-in-law: Columbus Carter Jr; grandson: Lindsey Hundley. 


Celebration of Life Services for a life well lived, will be held on Sunday, September 30, 2018 at 3:00 PM from the sanctuary of Greater Pleasant Temple Missionary Baptist Church - 309 Cherry Street, Valdosta Georgia - Reverend Bernard L. Robinson Sr; is pastor and will officiate.  Mother Lula Mae Hundley, will be laid to rest in Sunset Hill Cemetery.
