My sincere condolences for the loss of your loved one. Death is truly an enemy and soon Jehovah God will eliminate it permanently and resurrect those lost in death. In fact, he yearns to do so. It is his promise and he cannot lie. May his promise bring you comfort. (Job 14:14,15)

May Jehovah the God of all comfort be with the family. Psalms 83:18
  • Friday, September 28, 2018
To the Family of Coddetta Bateman: I am sorry for your loss. I cannot imagine your pain and sadness at this time. I pray that Jehovah God will comfort and support you during this time of sorrow. God has promises to one day put an end to death forever (Isaiah 25:8). Jesus also showed what He will do in the future. The Bible shows that in the future those who fallen asleep in death will be resurrected back to life on a paradise earth (John 5:28 and Luke 23:43). Until that time comes may you treasure the special memories you shared.

My sympathies to the Bateman family. I'm so sorry for your loss. It's no way to really describe the pain one feels when he or she loses a loved one in death. Feelings of sadness and grief can be so overwhelming during this time of mourning. However, comfort from the scriptures can give you hope. John 5:28,29 speaks of the promise of the resurrection hope. What this can mean for your family is a real hope of being reunited with your dear loved ones at a time when "death will be no more." (Revelation 21:4) May the God of all comfort be with you during this difficult time.

My sincere condolences to you on the loss of your loved one. Words cannot express the sorrow you’re feeling at this time. Or the pain your heart will continue to feel as the years pass. I too have lost loved ones and this promise found in God’s Word that in the near future, death along with the sting of pain and sorrow will soon be gone forever has brought me so much comfort. I hope this will bring you a measure of comfort too. Isaiah 25:8 - He (God)will swallow up death forever, and the Sovereign Lord Jehovah (God’s name)will wipe away the tears from all faces. May this tract bring you some comfort: http://www.jw.org/en/publications/books/dead-live-again-tract/dead-live-again/
