To the Family and Friends of Marietta Freeman: Please accept my expression of sympathy. I am sorry for your loss. May the God of all comfort be with you in your time of deep sorrow (2 Corinthians 1:3,4). We look forward to the time when God will fulfill His promise at Revelation 21:3,4 that He will remove all causes of pain, suffering, and death. Until that time, may you cherish the memories you shared.

My sincere condolences to you on the loss of your loved one. Words cannot express the sorrow you’re feeling at this time. Or the pain your heart will continue to feel as the years pass. I too have lost loved ones and this promise found in God’s Word that in the near future, death along with the sting of pain and sorrow will soon be gone forever has brought me so much comfort. I hope this will bring you a measure of comfort too. Isaiah 25:8 - He (God)will swallow up death forever, and the Sovereign Lord Jehovah (God’s name)will wipe away the tears from all faces. May this tract bring you some comfort: http://www.jw.org/en/publications/books/dead-live-again-tract/dead-live-again/

I wanted to send my love and condolences to the Freeman family. I'm very sorry for your loss. Losing a loved one in death is a devastating experience that leaves us with feelings of sorrow and grief. However, know that God is going to replace your sadness with joy and a hope for the future. How? Isaiah 25:8 says, "He will swallow up death forever, and the Sovereign Lord Jehovah will wipe the tears from all faces." So here Jehovah God has promised that He will eliminate death forever, wiping away the tears that come from losing the ones we love. Furthermore, God has given us the hope of the resurrection, which can mean being reunited with our dear loved ones, once again on a Paradise earth. (John 5:28, 29; Revelation 21:4) If you would like more Bible-based information about the resurrection hope, please visit our website at jw.org.

From personal experience, I know that losing a dear friend or relative in death is the hardest thing we have to deal with. At such a difficult time, we need loving support and encouragement. Revelation 21:4 "And He will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away.” For additional comfort, please visit: https://www.jw.org/finder?wtlocale=E&docid=502014163&srcid=share
