May the God of all comfort be with you in your time of deep sorrow (2 Corinthians 1:3,4). My sincere condolences to you on the loss of your loved one. Words cannot express the sorrow you’re feeling at this time. Or the pain your heart will continue to feel as the years pass. I too have lost loved ones and this promise found in God’s Word that in the near future, death along with the sting of pain and sorrow will soon be gone forever has brought me so much comfort. I hope this will bring you a measure of comfort too. Isaiah 25:8 - He (God)will swallow up death forever, and the Sovereign Lord Jehovah (God’s name)will wipe away the tears from all faces. May this tract bring you some comfort: http://www.jw.org/en/publications/books/dead-live-again-tract/dead-live-again/

I wanted to offer my sincere condolences to the Montgomery family. I am so sorry to hear about the loss of your loved one Shakira. I don't know the family personally, but I still wanted to share my sympathies with you, especially during this difficult time. Losing a loved one in death is one of the hardest events anyone could face, especially such a young person as Shakira. When things like this take place, we are overcome with feelings of sadness, maybe even anger. Rest assured that Almighty God is not the cause of death, neither does he take our loved ones away from us to be with Him in heaven. He has provided a beautiful hope for us for the future, to help remedy the pain of losing someone we love. John 5:28,29 says, "Do not be amazed at this, for the hour is coming in which all those in the memorial tombs (God's loving memory) will hear his voice and come out." What this can mean for you is a real hope of being reunited with Shakira, being able to see, hold, and talk to her/him again. No doubt this promise is one that you look forward to seeing fulfilled in the near future.

From personal experience, I know that losing a dear friend or relative in death is the hardest thing we have to deal with. At such a difficult time, we need loving support and encouragement. Revelation 21:4 "And He will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away.” For additional comfort, please visit: https://www.jw.org/finder?wtlocale=E&docid=502014163&srcid=share
