Elmer Santoi Palmer, affectionately known as Santoi was born to Elmer Palmer and Caroline Palmer, February 25, 1971. Santoi was the middle child born in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Santoi was baptized at the Greater Union Baptist Church in Tulsa, OK. He attended Venice High School in Los Angeles, California for several years, but later received his G.E.D at Tulare Adult School in Tulare, California. In 1994, he married his High School sweetheart, Detrona Edwards, of Tulare, California. To their union two children were born. He received his Commercial Driver’s License while residing in Tulare, California. Santoi worked using his CDL for greater than twenty years. Santoi received a number of awards, achievements and honors for his dedication, service and excellent work ethics including a “no-accident driver!” In 1999, Santoi and his wife, Detrona moved from California to Marietta, Georgia along with their son. Santoi and Detrona soon after announced their spectacular surprise of a new baby girl. Santoi accepted Jesus Christ , and was baptised again at Gathering of Champions Church in Powder Springs, Georgia. He worked with the Youth Ministry, the Parking Lot Ministry and was always chosen as the grill master. Santoi was known for his home cooked meals, including his expertise for grilling. He also served diligently with the Romans Men’s Prayer Group. Santoi enjoyed his weekend excursions and vacations alongside his wife, Detrona. He always spoke of his historical trip to the Dominican Republic along with his brother-friends. He was an obvious Pittsburgh Steelers fanatic. Santoi was kind, loving, compassionate, strong and faithful. Santoi loved “people” and enjoyed serving others. In his leisure time, Santoi enjoyed fishing and riding his motorcycle. Santoi’s memory will be cherished and forever remembered by his loving and devoted wife of 25 years, Detrona Palmer of Powder Springs, GA; one son and one daughter, Kihrie Palmer and Santanea Palmer, both of Powder Springs, GA; his granddaughter, Kemirah Palmer of Austell, GA; his father, Elmer Palmer of Tulsa, OK; his mother, Caroline Palmer of Powder Springs, GA; his sister, Carolyn Young (Christopher) of Lithia Springs, GA; his brother, Chad Palmer of Tulsa, OK; a host of aunts, uncles, nephews, nieces other relatives, loved ones and friends.

Life is truly an experience that allows us the opportunity to leave the most important impressions in the hearts those we cross paths with and a chance be as fulfilled as we have the capacity to receive. I share the most comforting, encouraging, and peaceful energy with the family and may the best memories flood your hearts and you call his name or think of him.

To family and friends my deepest sympathies to you for the loss of your love one. Losing a loved one in death is very painful. Almighty God Jehovah (God's name; Psalms 83:18) promise that he will resurrect millions of people who have died. "And the earth will let those powerless in death come to life". Isaiah 26:19 "There is going to be a resurrection of both the righteous and unrighteous". These are the words of Jesus Christ at John 5:28,29. Learn more about the resurrection hope and how Jesus is going to make God's wonderful promises come true at jw.org. May the God of all comfort and tender mercies sustain you at this difficult time. 2 Corinthians 1:3,4

Our sincere condolences to you on the loss of your loved one. Words cannot express the sorrow you’re feeling at this time. Or the pain your heart will continue to feel as the years pass. I too have lost loved ones and this promise found in God’s Word that in the near future, death along with the sting of pain and sorrow will soon be gone forever has brought me so much comfort. I hope this will bring you a measure of comfort too. Isaiah 25:8 - He (God)will swallow up death forever, and the Sovereign Lord Jehovah (God’s name)will wipe away the tears from all faces. May this tract bring you some comfort: http://www.jw.org/en/publications/books/dead-live-again-tract/dead-live-again/

Dear Palmer family, please accept my deepest sympathies. I am very sorry for your loss. Losing a loved one in death can leave us with feelings of sorrow and grief. But there is a beautiful hope we can look forward to. Isaiah 25:8 says, "He will swallow up death forever, and the Sovereign Lord Jehovah will wipe away the tears from all faces." So not only will Almighty God eliminate death, but he will remove the feelings of sadness that come from losing someone we love, and replace those feelings with comfort and hope. With heartfelt sympathy for your loss. I pray that God's promise of a resurrection may bring you comfort. At Job 14:14 and 15 that promise shows that God will call the name of those lost in death and restore them to life. In fact, he yearns to do so because he intended for mankind to live forever. God knows the pain of this kind of loss and he sees every tear. That is why he will remove death completely. May his spirit help you endure until that time. To learn more please visit www.jw.org

From personal experience, I know that losing a dear friend or relative in death is the hardest thing we have to deal with. At such a difficult time, we need loving support and encouragement. Revelation 21:4 "And He will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away.” For additional comfort, please visit: https://www.jw.org/finder?wtlocale=E&docid=502014163&srcid=share

I'm sorry for your loss. He was a positive influence on my boys when we attended church. It was a true shock to learn of his passing. He always had a smile on his face when we pulled into church. I know he will be greatly missed. I'm praying for comfort for the entire family through this time.

My deepest condolences to all the love ones of the dearly departed. The words found at 2 Corinthians chapter 1 verses 3 and 4 were especially comforting to me and my family during the loss of our parents and dear loved ones. It says, "Praised be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of tender mercies and God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our trials so that we may be able to comfort others in any sort of trial with comfort that we receive from God." May these words strengthen you too.
