When we go through these sorrowful times, we can be assured that God does care about us. God promises that he “is near to those that are broken at heart; and those who are crushed in spirit he saves.” (Psalms 34:18) Nothing can bring us more peace of mind than the inspired words of… “the God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our tribulations.” (2 Corinthians 1:3,4) God promises that in the future he…” will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away.” (Revelation 21:3,4) We can all look forward to the time when “the last enemy, death, is to be brought to nothing.” (1 Corinthians 15:26) I hope you find some comfort in these words. Take Care.

Family and friends of Mr. Gresham I would like to share my condolences with you all. Death is something we all are saddened when it happens. Unfortunately, this is the one thing in life we have no control. Therefore, we must look to the scriptures to see how we can cope with it. At 2 Cor. 1:3&4 tells us that Jehovah (Psalms 83:18) is a God of Comfort and he understands our sadness. He also provides us with a hope at John 5:28&29 regarding the hope of a resurrection. Our Awake of November 2018 entitled "Help For Those Who Grieve" had this to say "Few things cause more stress or heartache than the death of a mate, relative, or dear friend"". You can read this entire article at jw.org along with many more comforting articles about coping with grief and everyday problems we encounter on a daily basis.

We're so sorry to hear you are mourning the recent loss of your loved one. May you find strength and comfort from the words of Psalms 46:1 which reads: "God is our refuge and strength, A help that is readily found in times of distress." Our loving God is there for us if we ask for his help (1 John 5:14). He didn't intend for us to grow old and die. He thus has made the SURE promise of a resurrection RIGHT HERE ON EARTH when it is restored to a beautiful paradise (Psalms 37:9-11, 29; Acts 24:15; Isaiah 55;11). Can you see yourself welcoming back to life your loved ones? What a joy it will bring all of us. You can go online to JW.ORG and find out more about this resurrection.

May the wonderful memories of your loved one continue to provide a measure of comfort to you until God's promises are fulfilled (Matthew 5:5; Psalms 37:11, 29).
