Our sincere condolences to you on the loss of your loved one. Words cannot express the sorrow you’re feeling at this time. Or the pain your heart will continue to feel as the years pass. I too have lost loved ones and this promise found in God’s Word that in the near future, death along with the sting of pain and sorrow will soon be gone forever has brought me so much comfort. I hope this will bring you a measure of comfort too. Isaiah 25:8 - He (God)will swallow up death forever, and the Sovereign Lord Jehovah (God’s name)will wipe away the tears from all faces. May this tract bring you some comfort: http://www.jw.org/en/publications/books/dead-live-again-tract/dead-live-again/

I hope that you can find some comfort in God's Word the Bible. Acts 24:15 says, "I have hope toward God...that there is going to be a resurrection..." Here the Bible is assuring us that in the near future we have the hope of being reunited with our loved ones we have lost in death. May this promise be a comfort to you during this difficult time. To the family, I just want to express my sincere condolences to the loss of your love one. Death is a powerful hurt “and the last enemy” that plague all of us. (1 Corinthians 15:26) But there is a hope for your love one. The scriptures tell us that there is going to be a resurrection and Jesus, under the direction of his heavenly Father, Jehovah, is going to bring those out of the memorial tombs. (John 5:28,29; Psalms 83:18) So, even though mourning is something we will all do when death occurs, please remember that your love one is safe in God’s memory. Again, please accept my condolences, and if there is anything you would like to know about Jehovah, his Son, Jesus, and what they are planning on doing in the future, please visit our website at www.jw.org. I am so sorry for the loss of your dear loved one. There is a very comforting scripture found at Isaiah 25:8. It says that soon Jehovah will swallow up death forever and that he will wipe away all of the tears. So we can look forward to a time when death will be done away with forever. To the Family of Lesley Thrash: I am sorry to hear of your loss. I cannot imagine your pain and sadness at this time. I pray that Jehovah God will comfort and support you all during this time of sorrow. God has promised to one day put an end to death forever (Isaiah 25:8). Jesus also showed what He will do in the future. The Bible shows that in the future those who have fallen asleep in the death will be brought back to life on a paradise earth (John 5:28 and Luke 23:43). Until that time, may you treasure the special memories you shared.

To the Family of Frederik Houston: I happened upon this notice and my heart goes out to the family. I want to convey my sympathy and share with you the thought from the Bible that I look to at times such as these. Our Heavenly Father Jehovah is a God of love and He hates to see us in pain. This thought is supported at Revelation 21;3,4 where it promises that God will do away with death and pain forever. What a joyous time this will be for all who inherit God's new Kingdom.

We are so much affected when we heard of the death of your loved one. Please accept our condolences. Going through something like this will take a toll on your heart for the rest of your life. However, there is comfort that can be gained from looking into the words of comfort that our creator Jehovah God provides in his word the Bible. I will share a few with you. The listed scriptures give us insight as to what will happen in the near future. There are many more that explain why we die and what hope we have. Revelation 21:3-4; Isaiah 65:17 and John 5:29. Mary

My deepest condolences to all the love ones of the dearly departed. The words found at 2 Corinthians chapter 1 verses 3 and 4 were especially comforting to me and my family during the loss of our parents and dear loved ones. It says, "Praised be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of tender mercies and God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our trials so that we may be able to comfort others in any sort of trial with comfort that we receive from God." May these words strengthen you too.

Thrash Family: Hoping the scriptural answer to "what does the death of Jesus mean for your beautiful Lesley" empower you with the comfort you need. Jesus gave up his life to pay a ransom for all of us including Lesley. (Matthew 20:28) By means of that ransom, God makes it possible for us to live forever. As King of God's Kingdom, Jesus will make the earth a paradise. Here among the righteous, Lesley will live forever on it. (Matthew 6:9-10; Psalm 37:29) I pray for your comfort!
