To family and friends my deepest sympathies to you for the loss of your love one. Losing a loved one in death is very painful. Almighty God Jehovah (God's name; Psalms 83:18) promise that he will resurrect millions of people who have died. "And the earth will let those powerless in death come to life". Isaiah 26:19 "There is going to be a resurrection of both the righteous and unrighteous". These are the words of Jesus Christ at John 5:28,29. Learn more about the resurrection hope and how Jesus is going to make God's wonderful promises come true at jw.org. May the God of all comfort and tender mercies sustain you at this difficult time. 2 Corinthians 1:3,4

My sincere sympathies to the Cleveland family. I am very sorry for your loss. Please know that God is eager to do away with death. He hates death and views it as an enemy. (1 Corinthians 15:26) As an enemy of God, we can be sure that death will be conquered and will not last forever. Almighty God, Jehovah, will undo death by means of the resurrection hope. (John 5:28, 29) He yearns to bring back those who are in his memory and to see them live on earth again. (Job 14:14,15) What this can mean for you is a real hope of being reunited with your dear loved ones.

To the Family and Friends of Eddie Cleveland: Please accept my expressions of sympathy in the loss of your dear love one. May the God of all comfort provide you with strength in this most difficult time (2 Corinthians 1:3,4). God promises that soon He will remove all causes of pain, suffering, and death (Revelation 21:3,4). We know that Almighty Jehovah God has not only the power but also yearns to fulfill this promise. Until that time, may you find comfort in this promise and treasure the special memories you shared.

I am truly sorry for your loss. However, John 5:25 says “the dead will hear the voice of the Son of God, and those who have paid attention will live”. Those who have died and are in God’s memory will be resurrected to a restored earth and have a hope of everlasting life. (Psalm 37:11, 29) I hope this brings you peace.

From personal experience, I know that losing a dear friend or relative in death is the hardest thing we have to deal with. At such a difficult time, we need loving support and encouragement. Revelation 21:4 "And He will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away.”

My deepest condolences to all the love ones of the dearly departed. The words found at 2 Corinthians chapter 1 verses 3 and 4 were especially comforting to me and my family during the loss of our parents and dear loved ones. It says, "Praised be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of tender mercies and God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our trials so that we may be able to comfort others in any sort of trial with comfort that we receive from God." May these words strengthen you too.

Cleveland Family: May God comfort you during your time of sorrow and learning "what the future holds for mankind," including those sleeping in death, ease your grief. Psalm 37:29 promises: "The righteous will possess the earth, and they will live forever on it." Be assured that Jesus will resurrect Eddie, restore his life, on the last day. (John 6:40)
