From personal experience, I know that losing a dear friend or relative in death is the hardest thing we have to deal with. At such a difficult time, we need loving support and encouragement. Revelation 21:4 "And He will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away.”

Dear Penn family, you have my deepest sympathies. The death of a loved one causes deep pain. There is no feeling like it. But soon that grief will be replaced with joy. At Jeremiah 31:13, Almighty God has promised, "I will change their mourning into exultation. I will comfort them and give them joy instead of their grief." No doubt you look forward to the fulfillment of that promise. Until then, you can fully rely on "the God of tender mercies and the God of all comfort" to give you the strength and endurance to cope during this difficult time. (2 Corinthians 1:3)

To the Family of Cecilia Penn: I am sorry to hear of your loss. I cannot imagine your pain and sadness at this time. May Jehovah God comfort and support you all during this time of sorrow. God has promised to one day put an end to death forever (Isaiah 25:8). Jesus also showed what He will do in the future. The Bible shows that in the future those who have fallen asleep in death will be brought back to life on a paradise earth (John 5:28 and Luke 23:43). Until that time, may you treasure the special memories you shared.

My deepest condolences to all the love ones of the dearly departed. The words found at 2 Corinthians chapter 1 verses 3 and 4 were especially comforting to me and my family during the loss of our parents and dear loved ones. It says, "Praised be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of tender mercies and God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our trials so that we may be able to comfort others in any sort of trial with comfort that we receive from God." May these words strengthen you too.
