From personal experience, I know that losing a dear friend or relative in death is the hardest thing we have to deal with. At such a difficult time, we need loving support and encouragement. Revelation 21:4 "And He will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away.”

I am very sorry for the recent loss of your dear loved one, Mrs. Elease. I have a brief encouraging message I would like to share with you from the Bible. The Bible can be a great source of both comfort and hope during this most difficult time in your lives. For an example, at Revelation 21:3-5 it assures us that the day is soon coming when our most loving Heavenly Father is going to wipe away the tears of sorrow from our eyes and that even pain and death will be no more. I hope after reading this it will be of some comfort to each one of you. If later you would like to learn more from the Bible about why we die or why does a loving God allow so much suffering and injustice, please feel free to go to the website: www.jw.org to find satisfying answers.

I wanted to express my sympathies to the Nelson family. I'm so sorry for your loss. During difficult times like this, we all need comfort. That comfort can come from the Bible, through prayer, from family and friends. But the ultimate source of comfort comes from Almighty God, Jehovah. 2 Corinthians 1:3,4 speaks, in part, of "the God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our trials so that we may be able to comfort others in any sort of trial with the comfort that we receive from God." It considers how God provides such comfort. https://www.jw.org/en/publications/magazines/watchtower-no5-2016-september/#?insight[search_id]=15989af5-9867-4eca-b8d5-029765b2874e&insight[search_result_index]=1

I would like to express my sympathy to the family of Elease Nelson. I am sorry to hear of your loss. The death of a love one is a painful experience. Our Heavenly Father is well aware of the hurt you feel. He promises in His Word the Holy Bible to remove pain, suffering, and death (Isaiah 25:8 and Revelation 21:3,4). We know that Almighty Jehovah God has not only the power but also yearns to fulfill this promise. Until that time, may you find comfort in this promise and treasure the special memories you shared.
