When Christ shall come with shout of acclamation. And take me home, what joy shall fill my heart. Then I shall bow in humble adoration and then proclaim, "My God, how great Thou art"

Our deepest condolences go out to the Minson Family and friends. No one can prepare for a loss; it comes like a swift wind. However, take comfort in knowing that he is now resting in the arms of our Lord.

Mrs. Mary Elizabeth Minson (65) of Lakeland, Georgia – was born December 21, 1953. “Mary” understood the words of that old familiar hymn: And when I think of God, His son not sparing, Sent Him to die, I scarce can take it in; That on the cross, my burden gladly bearing He bled and died to take away my sin Then sings my soul My Savior, God, to Thee How great thou art.

Mrs. Mary Elizabeth Minson went to sleep into eternal rest on Wednesday, January 2, 2019 – Funeral Services honoring his life, are presently incomplete at this time but will be announced at a later date.

Home Going Services will be held Saturday, January 12, 2019 at 11:00 am from The Southside Baptist Church and burial will follow in the Charles Knight Cemetery, both are located in Lakeland Georgia.

Condolences to the family and friends of Mrs. Mary Elizabeth Minson. While I did not know Mrs. Minson, I am certain she was deeply loved by all with whom she came in contact with. You can find comfort in knowing that the God of all comfort cares deeply for you all (2 Corinthians 1:3) and He has made it possible through His Son Jesus for all of our loved ones who have died, to have the hope of a resurrection (Acts 24:15). I want to offer my condolences to the Minson family and friends. Our Almighty Heavenly Father knows the pain you feel from the loss of your love one. He did not purpose his human family to die but to live and enjoy life forever. This is still his purpose (Psalms 37:11, 29). He calls death an enemy that will be removed forever along with all pain and suffering__ 1 Corinthians 15:26; Revelation 21:4 “And he will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore.” Notice his promise to awaken all those in the memorial tombs from asleep in death¬__ Isaiah 26:19 “Your dead will live ...Awake and shout joyfully you residents in the dust! ...the earth will let those powerless in death come to life." What a delight it will be to see them again! Allow these words to keep comforting all of you.

To the Family and Friends of Mary Elizabeth Minson: Please accept my expression of sympathy. I am sorry for your loss. May the God of all comfort be with you in your time of deep sorrow (2 Corinthians 1:3,4). We look forward to the time when God will fulfill His promise at Revelation 21:3,4 that He will remove all causes of pain, suffering, and death. Until that time, may you cherish the memories you shared.

We're so sorry to hear you are suffering the loss of your dear loved one. May you find strength and some comfort in the words found in Nahum 1:7 which reads: ”Jehovah is good, a stronghold in the day of distress. He is mindful of those seeking refuge in him.” Our loving God cares about us and is ready to bring us comfort if we allow him (1John 5:14). He also has made the provision of a resurrection RIGHT HERE ON EARTH when it is restored into a beautiful paradise (Acts 24:15; Isaiah 55:11). Can you see yourself welcoming back to life your dear loved one? Find out more about this resurrection online at JW.ORG
