Rest in Peace Dr. McClendon you have made a positive impact on so many lives including mine. I will never forget your kindness and welcoming spirit whenever I would come to Woodson to support the Pre-K classroom. You will truly be missed.

I met Dr. McClendon through the mentoring programming she helped set up through Buckhead Church. I actually went to the school today to visit my mentee and spoke of how we would miss her. What she fostered and started has and will continue to positively influence lives exponentially. I truly feel the ripple effect of her actions will be positively felt for generations with the kids in the program (as well as the mentors). She always had a smile and a friendly wave for everyone and will be missed. Good energy and prayers for her family, friends, and school community. We all appreciate the gift your life represented.

We're sorry to hear about your recent loss. Accept our sincere condolences. May you find strength from the words of Philippians 4:13 which says: "For all things I have the strength through the one who gives me power." What a loving God who cares about each one of us. He didn't intend for us to grow old and die. He thus has made the SURE promise of a resurrection right here on earth when it is restored to a beautiful paradise (Psalms 37:9-11, 29; Acts 24:15; Isaiah 55;11). Can you see yourself welcoming back to life your loved ones? What a joy it will bring all of us. You can go online to JW.ORG and find out more about this resurrection.

My condolences to the McClendon family during this time of bereavement. The Bible teaches that " there will be a resurrection of the righteous and the unrighteousness."-Acts 24:15.
