Such a sweet spirit, Mr. Liz was always so kind and treated us like her own during our time as King's Club members. We will remember you with fondness. Hope you left your barbecue sauce recipe with someone!  We love you!

Mrs. Elizabeth Ware Roberson of Cedartown transitioned on March 1, 2014 surrounded by a loving family.  Funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, March 6, 2014 at Cedar Lake Christain Center, 1890 Rome Hwy., Bishop David Huskins, Pastor and Rev. Mrs. Roberson was born on May 3, 1933 in Polk County to the late Mr. & Mrs. Henry C. She was called to be with the Lord Saturday, March 1, 2014 after a short illness.

She was preceded in death by her spouse, James W. Roberson; parents, Mr. & Mrs. Henry C. Ware; daughter, Mildred Cook; and brother, Henry C. Ware, Jr.

She leaves to cherish her memories five children, Anthony Cook (Jackie), Debra Cook, Cynthia Montgomery (Charles), all of Cedartown, GA, Ray Cook (Yvonne) of Hinesville, GA, and Tammy Rowland (Shawn) of Rockmart, GA.  She is also survivied by two sisters, Annie Mae Ficklin of Atlanta, GA and Jacqueline Smith (Sammie) of Stockbridge, GA; eighteen grandchildren; twenty-seven great-grandchildren; four special friends, Lamar Walton, Jamie Tudor, LaQuita Boozer, and Temika "Cookie" Walton, many nieces, nephews, and a host of other relatives and friends who all loved her dearly.
