The Obituary of Brother Alvin Easter Jordan, Jr.

Alvin Easter Jordan, Jr. was born September 21, 1955 and transited to eternal life on Saturday, December 27, 2104 at 9:00 a.m. He was the eldest son of Alvin Easter Jordan Sr. (deceased) and Minnie Emma Cook Jordan. Alvin was blessed with a life of love and prosperity at both his hands and in God’s hands.
He confessed Christ at an early age (during his teenage years) and was a lifelong member of Popular Spring Missionary Baptist Church. He served in the church as Sunday School Teacher and Treasurer. Alvin was proud of both duties and treasured the relations and fellowships during his time of Christian service.
He was a high school graduate of Lexington Attendance Center and obtained a technical vocational degree in Springfield, IL. This training enhanced his artistic skill to draw and paint. He managed a successful automotive business career until his health compelled him to transition as an independent contractor, Jordan Trucking Company.
Alvin is survived by his devoted mother; Minnie E. Cook Jordan, eight siblings; Dr. Freddie L. Jordan (Columbus, OH), Gene A. and Jessie J.
