Interment at the Hudson Park Cemetery in Greenwood, MS.

HIS LIFE: RUBIN HUDSON, SR. was born August 9, 1945 in Greenwood, MS to the late Fred Hudson, Sr. and Roberta Glass Hudson who preceded him in death. He is also preceded in death by two brothers and two sisters.

He confessed Christ at an early age at Cypress Grove M. B. Church. Later he moved his membership to McKinney Chapel. In 1966 he moved his membership to New Green Grove Church of Faith.

He attended school at Browning Elementary and Amanda Elzy.

Rubin was a farmer and carpenter. In 1998 he became the proud owner of the Hudson Park Cemetery, where he worked faithfully until his death.

He was united in holy matrimony to Will Ella Williams Hudson. To their union one son was born. He later married Mary Hughes Hudson, and to their union one son was born.

He leaves to mourn and celebrate his home going three sons; Rubin Hudson, Jr., Michael Keys, and Xavier Hudson of Greenwood, MS, three daughters; Jackie Chalk of St. Louis, MO and Michell Keys of Greenwood, MS, six grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, two brothers; Willie (Louise) Hudson of Greenwood, MS and Norris Hudson of Memphis, TN, two sisters; Lula (Elder Climmie) Wilson of Greenwood, MS and Emma Roberson of Chicago, IL, one nephew as a brother Willie (Mary) Addison of Memphis, TN, and a host of nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.
