The Lord called our beloved home early in the morning on January 18, 2015. Within the 89 years she was here with us, she was a sister to Mattie Finnie, Greenwood, MS, mother of six; Eddie Meeks of Niles, MI, Mamie Garnett of Memphis, TN, Lloyd Meeks of Leakesville, MS, and Birdie Ward of Chicago, IL. Minnie had a very special friend whom she adored; Roosevelt Quinn of Lexington, MS. She was blessed to have 23 grandchildren, 36 great grandchildren, and soon to be three great-great grandchildren. Minnie left behind a host of other family members to carry on her legacy.
