Lillie Ruth Mosley of Quitman, Georgia, passed away Monday, May 4, 2015. She is best known for her hospitable spirit and her love of and devotion to her heavenly father, Jehovah God. Lillie Ruth led a life of dedicated service for 47 years as a member of the Christian Congregation of Jehovah's Witnesses alongside her husband, Willie Mosley. The two were baptized in 1968. Five years later, she entered the full time ministry as a regular pioneer. She remained faithful in this privilege of service for 42 years, despite various trials and health battles.
She is survived by her husband of 58 years, Willie Mosley (Quitman); her four children: James Frazier (Jeanette), Diane Miller (Daniel), Conrad Mosley and Michael Mosley; a stepdaughter: Verna Denson; two sisters: Rosa Hall (John) and Earnestine Johnson (Edward); seven grandchildren: Tony Head (Syreeta), Reginald Dixon (Carlisa), James Frazier Jr., (Angela), Janyata Worthy (Alonzo), Michael Mosley Jr., Moshe' Mosley and Marje' Mosley; two great-granddaughters; two first cousins; and a host of nieces and nephews. Her memory will be cherished by countless friends and acquaintances, for she so seldom ever met a stranger.
Memorial service for Mrs. Lillie Ruth Mosley will be held Saturday, May 9, 2015, at 2 p.m. at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, 1820 Moultrie Hwy., Quitman, GA 31643.
