Mr. Morris Lee Marable, son of Ruthie Mae Marable and the late Mr. Luther Marable, Jr. was born on July 23, 1958, in Thomasville, Georgia. On May 27, 2015, Morris transitioned from labor to reward. He joined New Hope Baptist Church at an early age.

Morris (BoBo, as he was affectionately known), enjoyed cooking but he will be remembered for his preserves, pickles, BBQ seasoning, pork steaks, and last but not least his famous drunk chickens.

He is survived by: a VERY devoted wife, Mrs. Velma Jones Marable, Boston GA; mother, Ruthie Mae Marable, Boston GA; six daughters, Cheryl Marable, Thomasville, GA, Nivea Daniels, Orlando FL, GM2 Miranda Marable, Goose Creek, SC, Morgan Daniels, Barwick GA, Melissa Wright, Boston GA, Alisha Sharp, Valdosta GA,; two step daughters Nikki Jones and Melba Jones both of Coolidge, GA; Step-son, Percy Jones, five sisters, Christine Mitchell, Dorothy (Carlton)Powell, Thomasville, GA, Debra (Eddie)Arrington, Boston, GA, Latae (Richard) Hylton, Riverdale, GA, Philissa Marable, Virginia Beach, VA; three brothers, Wayne (Gay) McMillian, Stockbridge, GA, James Marable, Mark Paytee, both of Boston GA; thirteen grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and dear friends. 

Funeral Service for Mr. Morris “BoBo” Marable will be held Saturday, May 30, 2015 at 11:00 AM at New Hope Missionary Baptist Church, Hatcher Road, Boston, Georgia. Burial: Simmon Hill Church Cemetery, Dixie, Georgia.

Public Viewing: 12:00-8:00 PM - Friday, May 29, 2015 and Family Visitation: 6:00-7:00 pm in the BTW Funeral Services Chapel.

Professional Services entrusted to Blankumsee, Thomas & Wright Funeral Services of Quitman, Georgia.

    I am sorry that you are grieving the passing of Mr.Marable. Please accept my sincere sympathy.
