My condolences in the loss of your loved one. When a loved one dies it brings much grief and sorrow. Our loving God Jehovah comforts us by means of his word the Bible. Psalm 34:18 says: Jehovah is close to the brokenhearted; He saves those who are crushed in spirit. The promise at Revelation 21:4 is also very comforting. It says: And he (God) will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. May these words strengthen and encourage you during this time of bereavement.
