Ms. Alberta Bing, was born on December 1, 1950 in Sycamore, South Carolina to the late Jewel Bing and Rosa Mae Ferguson Bing.

Even though she did not have any children of her own, she had a special love for everyone’s children. Growing up in Sycamore, her favorite baby cousin was Mary J. “Mary Jane” Ferguson.

She was preceded in death by her father, Jewel Bing, Sr.; brother, Jewel Bring, Jr.; sister, Isalene Bing-Brooks; three uncles: Quillie Ferguson, Sr. (he was like a father to her), William Ferguson and Lewis Ferguson; and an aunt, Annabelle Bostick.

Alberta leaves to cherish her fond memories: her mother, Rosa Mae Bing of Fairfax, SC; two aunts: Janie Mae (McArthur) Smith of Barnwell, SC and Flourine (Tyrone) Pickney of Savannah, GA; one uncle, Roosevelt (Mary Anne) Ferguson of Boynton Beach, FL; a favorite nephew, Bobby Brooks, Jr; two aunts: Eva Mae Williams and Emily Warren of Sycamore, SC; two right-hand cousins who helped her mother: Rosa “Lee” Ferguson and Jaquan Ferguson; and a host of other loving relatives and dear friends.
