"Verily, verily, I say unto you, he that heareth my word, and believeth on Him that sent me, hath everlasting life, and shall not come into condemnation; but is passed from death unto life." - John 5:24-26 To Stephanie Sheppard, family members, and friends of Ruth Maxwell: It is written in John 5:24-26 that death is not the end of life; it is only the body that perishes, "Auntie Ruth's" spirit can never die...it continues to live. Ruth Maxwell was a gift from Heaven, whose purpose was to make this world understand what love, friendship, goodness, and humbleness was all about. Goodness belongs to Heaven. This moment is a new beginning of her journey with our Lord, and Savior, Jesus Christ. Rejoice and be glad in it! She has fought a good fight! May you take comfort in knowing Earth has no sorrow big enough that Heaven cannot heal with the help of our Savior. I pray you find comfort in the days ahead and remember to cast ALL your cares upon the Lord and you will emerge stronger.
