"Verily, verily, I say unto you, he that heareth my word, and believeth on Him that sent me, hath everlasting life, and shall not come into condemnation; but is passed from death unto life." - John 5:24-26 To Stephanie Sheppard, family members, and friends of Ruth Maxwell: It is written in John 5:24-26 that death is not the end of life; it is only the body that perishes, "Auntie Ruth's" spirit can never continues to live. Ruth Maxwell was a gift from Heaven, whose purpose was to make this world understand what love, friendship, goodness, and humbleness was all about. Goodness belongs to Heaven. This moment is a new beginning of her journey with our Lord, and Savior, Jesus Christ. Rejoice and be glad in it! She has fought a good fight! May you take comfort in knowing Earth has no sorrow big enough that Heaven cannot heal with the help of our Savior. I pray you find comfort in the days ahead and remember to cast ALL your cares upon the Lord and you will emerge stronger.

To family and friends, I am very sorry to hear of the loss of your loved one. A comforting scripture is found at Isaiah 25:8. It says: "He will swallow up death forever, And the sovereign Lord Jehovah will wipe away the tears from all faces........." Also 1 Corinthians 15:22 says:. "For just as in Adam all are dying, so also in the Christ all will be made alive." Because we all came from Adam we are all dying, but through Christ Jesus our loved ones will be brought back to life! (John 5:28, 29) If you would like a free home Bible study to give you comfort, please go to the bottom of the home page of to request one.
