There are many words which can accurately describe the life and spirits of Sis. Shirley Moore.

Born to the late Jack and Eddie Bell Blankumsee, she was a devoted honorable and loyal daughter and mother in law, Lois Williams. At an early age she was added to the Church Of Christ, and became a dedicated teacher, counselor, preacher wife, a pillow of the community, inspiration to all young people, and a loving mother.

After graduating from high school, she married Bro. Zebedee Moore of 50 years. She was a loving companion, and dedicated help mate. To this union five children were born. Sons Van Zebedee (Monica),  Michael, Edmond, Justin Moore, daughter Jessica Moore. Eleven grandchildren Ricky, Van Michael, Mikalah, Porsha, Hilliary, Cindy, Kennady, Jonathan, Myacedeey, Riley, and Justin Jr.

She had seven brothers and five sisters, which five preceded her Willie, Robert, Jack, Thomas, and Mary France Phillips. She will be greatly missed by brothers Howard, Alford, and Solomon four sisters Mildred Carter, Eddie Mae Marshall, Odessa Blankumsee, and Arleen Golden. Brother in laws William(Belinda), Mike Anthony(Sylvia), David(Mary), and Johnny(JoAnn), and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Funeral Service for Mrs. Shirley A. Moore will be held Sunday, June 19, 2016 at 3:00 PM at Woodlawn Forrest Church of Christ, Valdosta, Georgia in Valdosta, Georgia, Bro, Clay Lee Phillips, Officiating Burial: North End Cemetery, Quitman, Georgia.

Public Viewing: 12:00-8:00 PM , Saturday, June 18, 2016 in the BTW Chapel..

Professional Services entrusted to Blankumsee, Thomas & Wright Funeral Services of Quitman, Georgia.
